Horn Island to Vyrilia Point

 0615hrs:  Departed Horn Island.  Slow going in the Boat Channel  with 3+ kts of adverse current at Entrance Island

Motor sailing in light SE winds

1230hrs:  Wind increased just before Crab Island to 15 to 20kts from the southeast.

1530hrs:  Caught a decent sized Cobia--food for a  ]few days.


 

1659hrs: Arrived at Vyrilia Point

Thoughts:  

*  A bit stressful navigating around Crab Island because of the shifting sand

*  Charts appear to reasonably accurate.
