0800hrs: Yep, slept in for a change with all hatches closed to keep the rain out. One of my longest sleeps since being aboard.
On the weather front it is not looking good for sun baking with light to heavy drizzle falling constantly.
On the health front things have taken a step for the worst. I'm now in covid related lockdown thanks to an infected Brisbane cleaner at a covid isolation hotel who took in the sights: of Brisbane and surrounds.
"RESTRICTIONS: From 6pm Friday until 6pm Monday, Local Government Areas of Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redlands and Logan will enter a three-day lockdown.
During the lockdown the following restrictions will apply:
• Residents can only leave home for work, education, healthcare, essential shopping and exercise in your local area
• Masks to be worn at all times when outside of the home
• 20 people can attend funerals, 10 people can attend weddings - no dancing or singing permitted
• Limit of two visitors in homes for essential reasons
• Restaurants and cafés to provide takeaway service only
• Cinemas, entertainment and recreation venues, gyms to close
• Places of worship to close
I think a boarder closure is imminent.
At least I have access to the shops here at Dunwich--things could be worse.
